Here's a tip - dealers often have a surplus of steel wheels taken off new cars which have been 'upgraded' to alloys and fatter tyres.

I had a rear wheel stolen from my Xsara last week (thief even took the wheel nuts and dropped the car on the ground). But my day was saved by a Citroen dealer who sold me a steel rim complete with new Michelin Energy tyre for £20. The £20 appeared to go in his back pocket...
He had told me a replacement wheel would be £65 - but I talked him out of it.
