ZX Radio code entry

Hiya guys
I know the code for my stereo yet it won't let me input it, i've tried leaving it on for up to about 2 hours but it just won't reset itself.
Any ideas?

Hi Nutkin.

There is no shortcut, you just have to wait untill it asks for you to enter its code.

In my case, I had just got back from a trip to York. approx 150 mile return trip. As I turned the car round at home, it suddenly asked for the code.!!

I entered the code and it was fine from then on.

Hiya James, thanks for the reply .... it takes so long doesn't it? I've used the car everyday since it happened looking hopefully at the little lcd panel for the COD , it's gotta be over a month now, darn thing lol
I'll be patient a bit longer then i think i may have to get another stereo, it's sooo boring without it.

Hi Sammy. It is a pain I agree..

I used a small portable radio that plugged into the cigar lighter socket in my car while I waited for my radio to 'wake up'.. It's not ideal, but it does help to pass the time..
