Kangarooing Megane

Not a question, but just for info!

My 1996 Megane 1.6rt developed the annoying fault of kangarooing when coldish, and I was expecting a trip to the dealer to read the error codes as I suspected a fuel injection sensor problem.
However, I spent some time searching this and other Renault forums (fora?) and decided to check the hose to the MAP sensor.
Sure enough, it had a split near the sensor. I fitted a temporary pipe, then got the right one, and all is working ok now. (Total cost £6)

Definitely something worth checking if this sort of symptom appears.

Well done problem solved at a cheap price, without having to resort to a main stealer.
