Hello everyone,
Well, before i tackle the coolant change, i thought i would check out my Xantia headlining problem over the weekend I have found the problem but i need a little help. I suspected it was the wet headlining having something to do with the water under the rear offside passenger seat. When i checked the sunroof drains (pouring water into tray) i found three are working fine, but the rear offside one is just leaking behind the headlining and down under the seat. But the problem is this; the clear plastic connector that joins the pipe to the tray is loose, allowing water to leak out. I am not sure how to refit the connector to the tray so that it does not leak. It is hard plastic fitting against a metal channel. I think that is a crap design on behalf of Citroen!! It is just slightly annoying as i don't fancy the idea of my leather seats getting wet! I would be very grateful if anyone could help. I'm considering having a go at Citroen over this one!!
Thanks for reading, sorry for the long post!
Regards, Rich.

Hello Phil!
Thanks for that suggestion mate, i think it must be worth a try. I have bought a nice shiny new tube of clear silicone, it says on it that it is resistant to extremes of temperature and weather and it stays flexible, also makes a good adhesive too it says! I will try at the weekend if it stops wazzing it down with rain! I will let you know if it does the trick. At the moment i have taped up the sunroof, water does not get under the rear seats now!! Lovely and dry. As you asked, the original connector has two "prongs" on the lower surface which fit through two holes in the sunroof channel, then it seems that the end of the two prongs are just melted to hold the connector in place. I can't understand how that makes a waterproof seal though...
