Unfortuantly this box started playing up a couple of months back by clicking and just not doing what it was told so i told mother to go back using the 'original' central locking fob for the car, however this now wont open the doors at all so now she has to open with the key.
The passenger side door has never been 'right' since it got a screwdriver in it and my stereo and boot changer pinched etc etc so got a replacement door from the scrappers (about a year ago now) which ruined the whole car really.
A couple of months ago mother was having a problem with this replacement door (front passenger side) in the form that it wouldnt open sometimes so i took out the lock and just lubed it etc etc and all is fine in that respect.
So should i remove this 'remote locking box kit' and see if that works as that could be making the original fob now not work or could it be something more sinister.
Im off for something to eat and to remove the plastic trim off the inside of the boot itself (those side bits of plastic that clip underneath the central bit of plastic that hides the boot lock as its flapping since the catches broke and also the actual boot itself had snapped off around where the catches go into to secure. So im gonna have a play with that.
