HYDRAULIC PUMP

Hi, Will be looking at a xantia hdi sx year 2000 on friday, i have been told to make sure the hydraulic pump is dry. Can anyone tell me where the pump is situated and what it actually looks like...photos if possible would be very helpful. Another member mentioned checking / listening for a crank pulley again where is it and what does it look like...any photos would be wonderful...thanks Colin
