Where the hell is the horn ? !!

Post by London luke »

Cant stand the sound of it .. so will replace it with the mother of all horns "The Stobol "nautlius. Scares the living daylights out of pedestrians.

But I look under and over the engine bay and can I find the horn??? No !! I bet its hideen under some cover held down by more Torox screws !!

"But I look under and over the engine bay and can I find the horn???"

Have your glamorous assistant depress the horn button while you use your ears to track the source of the noise?

Once located - cut the wires. No need to remove bumper, wing and spllash covers just to remove a dump standard horn 8)
Use the horn wires to feed a relay then use the relay contacts to power whatever you want to shout at the poor pedestrians
Remeber an in-line fuse from batery plus to fire protect your home made circuit.

I agree with Anders - don't bother trying to get the old one out just mount the new one behind a wheel arch mpoulding and run a new pair if wires to it.
