I recently purchased a 2000 V Megane Scenic (Phase2). Had an easy life, fully maintained and only showing 34,000.
My partner and I noticed that the car seems to occasionally 'lean' slightly to the right hand side and the steering wheel is not centered, sitting at the 11 o'clock position (related? I'm not sure) when driving in a straight line. With the car on a flat level surface you can just notice the 'lean' too.
Before I take it to a Renault dealer to fleece me of my hard earned, does anyone have an inkling as to what the problem may be? Tracking? Shocks? Rather walk in armed with some ideas.
Cheers!
Gavin.

If the car is leaning, although checking the tracking might help to see if the tracking is out.
It won't help in finding out if something else is out of alignment, and GavWah as you say the car is leaning. Then the car should have a laser chassis alignment check, by an independent specialist who will have the correct equipment to check the car correctly, and will certainly be cheaper than a main d(st)ealer.
I note that you also state that it occasionally leans.
Under what conditions do you notice this lean ?
As the car is now 6 years old things can wear, and the specialist will carry out checks for wear.
Also when the car leans, does the car wander to the leaning side, and has it been kerbed ?
