electric glitches

Unread post by born2die »

After posting before regarding the stereo lighting up but not turning on I decided to give th interior a clean applied polish to duster dusted the dash down a bugger me if the clock did'nt give up and go away.

So I pulled the clock and dismantled couldnt find anything wrong put it together and put it back in the dash and blow me if for the 1st time since I have had the car the light worked but alas no time.

Any help would be appreciated as its getting irritating that it all lights up as it should it just doesnt work.

after getting the dash apart for the umpteenth time and findining nothing wrong I am now pleading for help as little one wants her teenyboppers back on the stereo.

many thanks

Have you considered cutting the plug for the clock and just solder the wires?
Just a thought
