Xantia Stereo Query

Does this look like the one which will be compatible for my P-Reg (before the big change for stereos).

As you can see it has the cd changer connection and the steering wheel controls connection also.

Can anyone confirm whether this is pre change or afterwards.

That the one that was fitted to my facelift TD 1998 model

The stereo fitted to my old shape 97 td didn't look quite like that and had a 3mm socket in the front

If your 97 had the 3mm socket at the front....im guessing yours was the same as what i currently have.

Top model - CD changer connection (din) at rear and steering wheel controls

Below the top model - Steering wheel controls and an output "3mm" socket at the front (which is what we both have)

And then below that it has even less.

This is the "top model" which is the one im after unfortuantly the bloke doesnt know what age the car was that it came out of...if i came out of the newer xantias then the steering controls wont work with it in my car, however if it came out the first xantias (which is what i need!!!) then its all compatible!

Hullo,

That stereo is from newer Xantia MK2. Different connector for steering remote. Power supply cable would be same, standard ISO. Sweet looking stereo though.
