406 TD Clutch???

Post by Stewart(oily) »

A mates 406 1.9TD Clutch has a high bite point and is slipping so much it feels like an automatic, this all came on rather suddenly, rather too sudden to be genuine wear?, are there any issues with the clutch operating/ adjusting mechanism on these cars, and while on the subject why dont GSF list a clutch for these cars???

There is a clutch listed and its £82, same one as all other 1.9td clutches.

Check that there is a bit of slack in the cable, if ok the diaphragm spring could have cracked or it may simply have just got down to the rivets.
