Guys,
Anyone seen a super/turbo charged version of the 406 esp the year 99 onwards running on the EW10J4 engine??
The previous version of 406 running on the XU10J4 had a turbo version, PSA did not come around with another one after that...any particular reason?
We only have the 2litre version in Malaysia and hence, performance can be quite bad .....slllllloooooow at times...
Any comments or after market stuff we can look at??
Also being a multiplex ECU, how difficult is to manipulate it?
Appreciate some inputs to get it rolling...we got quite a few who is interested to get some extra punch for the lion..
Thanks guys

Hi
The early 406 turbo used the XU10J2TE engine, 1998 cc 8 valve with a low pressure turbo & only 155bhp.
The reason these sold so few was because the engine was awful, The turbo liked to seize up too.
The 406 turbo is best avoided.
The 406 is best suited to the ES9J4 ( V6 24 valve ) or DW10ATED ( 110 HDI ) engines.
