Had a transfer box 1500 miles ago. Should be good for that again!

If it wasn't for this forum (in original guise), I might have bought one of these a while back...

Blimey! he want's top money for it too. Reserve not met at £500 spells an un-sold car to me!

Anyone nearby enough to go and take it for a test-drive, and see if his spline drive is in one piece?

I woudn't worry about the odometer being misaligned- that seems to be a BX trait!!

Mine does it all the time, at the moment its straight, but It'll click over another random digit and all of a sudden it'll look like Arfur Dailey's been at it!!

The trick with BX odometers is to slap the top of the instrument panel with the palm of your hand a couple of times, this often makes the numbers line up properly. Well they do until you next drive the car, then they'll go out of line again.

Your hand will go straight through, then you'll be screaming abuse at the car for hours while you try to glue all the mess back together with super glue (trying to get the dash into at least 4 or 5peices .... just like before   ).

The ebay withdrawal was due to the extra wording in original advert 'not golf, mondeo ' etc
Sounds as though ebay have started cracking down on this trick often used to get an item to appear in more search results.
