Saxo Heater Probs

Hi, New to the forum having been given the link through another hobby forum.
Got a 1999 Saxo 1.1 and have a problem with my heater. The blower function is not working when i turn the knob, even though heat can be felt though the system.
The rear window heater is also not working (the led on the switch is illuminated slightly).
Have checked main fuse box and all is well.
Any suggestions as to other area to investigate?
Motor has been spot on until now, but this has got me beat.
