Interchangeable parts ?

I've got a Xantia, and I'm fed-up with the windscreen washer jets going skew-wiff or not working at all.
Do you think it would be feasible to get hold of some 405 wipers - the ones with the washer pipe running up the arm, and replace the Xantia's with them ?
I presume the complete wiper bolts etc will need to be replaced, as the 405's would be similar to the Xantia rears ( ie. a pass-through pipe).
Any thoughts ?
( yes I do know about the 405's tendancy to freeze in the winter )

Didn't the BX have washer pipes running up the wiper arms too?<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Yes, but only one (one wiper on front screen).
