Xantia wiper delay not working

Hi, 1996 Xantia, the wiper delay and the auto wipe when washing the screen does not work, is there a relay for these functions? (The normal working of the wipers is fine, ie fast and slow speed.) Or is it a broken wire/contact in the switch. Any ideas please. thanks.

If you noticed, I have tha same problem. I think it is the timer relay but I don't know which one is the right one. Help?

Hi
You will find at the back of the fuse box in the car a blue relay which is screwed to the fuse box. Clean the wiring socket and the relay terminal.

I changed that blue relay and my weepers work now well. New relay was quite expensive so I bought it from car dismantler.
