Got a quick question, will the abs sensor ECU from a 2.0i petrol be compatible with a 1.9td ECU?
I have a problem with mine and have sourcede one from a petrol car. Also where is the ABS ecu located? If I can find it and get the part number off of it and someone else with a 1.9td abs ecu kindly post their details, I can find out that way?!

Most likely, it won't be the same. Also the ECU changed about 1996 onwards for the diesel as well.
It is located just behind the battery, next to the fuse box...the one with the huge cable connector. Unfortunately, the number you need is on the other side of the unit and not easy to read in situ.
Think you can take it off easily enough.
