Aircon drain - where is it??
Hi. I've been looking for the aircon drain, but haven't found it yet.[:I] The Haynes BOL, doesn't even mention it. Please point me in the right direction before i die of some horrible disease like legionaires.

If it's anything like the 405 one, it will be a pipe coming out of the bottom of the evaporator housing, and draining through the floor, often at the top of the "transmission tunnel". You can tell if it's clear simply by leaving the aircon running with the car parked for 10 minutes. If there's a puddle of water under the car, then it's clear.

If you get underneath your Xantia, you should be able to see a black rubber pipe ( elephants trunk ) sticking out of the flat vertical part of bulkhead in front of the passenger footwell. I couldn't see mine from the top so underneath is the only way to get at it, I think you may have to remove the undertray to have any access to it.
