Hi,
I have just bought myself a 1992 1.2 Clio, I'm very happy with it but the seal around the sunrof does not seal anymore and quite alot of water comes though! Can anyone tell me where I can get a new seal/rubber and how easy they are to replace.
Thanks in advance
Martin

Try www.yell.com and search for sunroof seals.

Agreed, but as far as I am aware, the sunroof (even if factory-fitted) on the clio (earlier ones anyway) are not the standard factory-fit type and the open outwards, therefore no drains.....Homer wrote:I don't know about the Clio but most sunroofs are no meant to seal.
They are designed to allow some water in around the edges which then drains down tubes from each corner.
Problems arise when one or more of these tubes become blocked and the water has nowhere to go.

ClioRL the reason as to why I asked about your type of sunroof is because, if it's the type as shown in the picture above. They can also leak because the actual cassette mechanism, as shown in the picture can actually warp slightly in relation to the roof panel.
So what could be blamed on a faulty seal, which in a lot of cases can be the reason for the leak, could turn out to be an out of shape sunroof.
