Peugeot 106 radio

I have been trying to fit a radio in my son's car - he has just bought it and the previous radio had been taken out along with the connectors for speaker etc. I can get all the speakers working, but when the radio is turned off, they fail to work when it is turned back on again. Help!

Hi,
This sounds more like a fault with the radio thats been fitted.
One way to check is to try connecting a seperate speaker (not using the cars wiring) and seeing if the same still happens.
