hi
new here looking for some sound advice plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
our n reg 1996 xantia 1.9 td is bouncing around like a ball in the sea the front end seems to come right of the road in real rough areas well when i say rough other cars just seem to roll over them but ours bounces apart from being perhaps dangerous can any one plzzzzzzzz tell us what the problem could be plzzzzzzzz

Fit a new set of spheres and you wont recognise it!

if i do fit new spheres do i need to get the ride height reset pardon the dumbness here

The ride height does not need adjusting when you replace the spheres, the LHM may need topping up and you'll need to bleed the system (search the forum from citrobatics). Changing spheres has been covered numerous times on this forum, so have a search!

Citrobatics: Basically, go from low to high suspension settings 5 or 6 times, to get the fluid pumped round the system.
Sphere's are easy, once you get them loose. A proper sphere removal tool is a good investment.
