Hi I have a 1994 L reg 1.9 TD Volcane, I would like to know if anybody knows the correct routeing of the speedo cable from the clocks to the bulkhead this then joins the cable from the gear box. Why may you ask, the previous owner replaced it but it snaped on him, I think he may have routed it wrong. Your help would be very appreciated.

The 2 piece cable is,
Rear of the speed looking forward, sharp left turn, then attached the the baulk head just about where the clock on the dash is. It then goes through a rubber grommit in the baulk head and comes out in the engine bay. It's a real pain the replace the top end. Some folk have re-routed by drilling a whole in the baulk head at the back of the speedo and just pushing the cable through and leaving the broken cable in the car. Down side is you have to go around the back of the inter cooler etc to get over to the gear box side.
