Radio Lighting in Xantia TD

Post by sonvue »

Is there a lighting system so you can see the radio controls in the dark? How do you repair it as Haynes does not seem to mention it?

i think it will be the same as the petrol models - remove the ash tray look in the upper area of the ash tray you will see 2 torx screws remove them and the outer facia of the radio and heating system will come off you should see all the other torx screws behind that to remove the radio, are your heater lights comming on if not there could be a blown fuse i would check that first it might save a lot of time. hope this help

if the factory fitted radio is failing to light up, then it's proberlly one of three things or a combertion of all, 1) blown bulb inside radio on the display circuit, 2) blown fuse for the radio display, 3) loose connection somewere in the circuit.
hope this helps
