DS Photo
Quite some time back, I saw a black&white poster on the wall at a Citroen workshop. It was of an ID19 in a windtunnel. The remarkable thing about it was that the parallel streamers of smoke, which were compressed as they travelled above and below the cabin, were perfectly reformulated behind the car. This is an example of perfect wake closure, and I would really like to have a copy of this photo to show my grandchildren how amazing was the quality of engineering in a 1950s DS Citroen. my email address is [email protected]

Hi Peter,
may try the DS lists .... I think my father might have the photo you speak of in a small DS book. Is the car white (there's another photo there of a DS that's hit HARD into a concrette wall. The front is obliterated back to the front wheels. Yet the rest of the car is perfect, doors open, everything from the damage back is unmarked).
BTW: I have a sphere tester at my place that your welcome to use for free at anytime. It's probably the only one in Ballarat ....
seeya,
