renault traffic/vauxhall or what?????

a bit off the car forum , a mate of mine is on the look out for a van.hes been offered a vauxhall somethin or other.now,from what he told me it is an old renault traffic,with a funny grille with a VAUXHALL badge on it!!! any one come across one of these or no anything about them? the fella says it has a 2.5 iveco diesel engine and something to do with vauxhall getting hold of a load of traffic bodies,re badging and putting a half decent motor in them.help and advice about this would be appreciated as both my mate and me self have never heard of them.its apparrently ex mod,body is mint and the engine hasnt got a hint of a rattle.
