HP pipe

Post by Matthew »

I m trying to put back on wheeels my 1990 xm td 12. It suffered an enormous leak from what turned out to be hp pipe going from pressure regulator to distributor. This pipe is made of three metal sections with two rubber ones between them. The rubber torn causing all lhm to flow down. I have asked for the price at the main dealer and its 163+vat + they dont sell it anymore. What to do?

that is power steering main return pipe,is it not the same as BX,bacause they used to be around £90 squide from cit dealer, have you asked any one in CCC,also i think it goes from steering flow valve to presure regulator, you could try your local LUCAS branch as they can make up lorry flexi hydraulic pipes they might be able to use the two end metal sections and fit new rubber
