Probably for the younger residents.
Does anyone run 17" alloys on their ZX? I understand that 16's need half inch spacers on the rear, is this the same for 17's?
Cheers
Ross

Again, not a ZX but i sometimes have 17's on my BX and they fit fine with no need for spacers as the offset matches the car/width of the wheels. However i agree with Cornish that it screws up every little part of the handling except perhaps the braking, but the ABS doesnt like that with 17's (thank god for the magic switch)!
I have 205/40 r17's and the cheapest i can get real tyres (not remoulds) is £60 for Falken Z315?s fitted and disposed. But i've seen Exalto 2 well over £150 per corner for this size! For the £120 i cen get a set of 4 decent tyres for the original alloys so i'm reverting back shortly.
I'd suggest that 16's are the way togo unless you already hate the car! I'm only keeping the 17's for show!

16's are expensive not only for the wheels but for tyres too! they will offer better comfort and ride to 17's but will cost you more in the long run!
i do like those wheels! although you are right that they would look a lot better in graphite on your car (if its that greeny colour as in the lock removal pick!)
