Xantia 1.8 8V Lambda Sensor

Looks like the original exhaust has given out on my Dad's 93 Xantia. Does anybody know where the lambda sensor connector is - I would have though it should be on the sensor, or not far up the cable, but the tech looking at it can't seem to find it!!

Richard,just had a look at mine - it`s below the air cleaner intake tube straight down from the distributer at 90 degr.
It is red/brown and black and about 6" after the exit from the large wiring loom which runs across the front of the engine.
