205 1.8 diesel turbo - idle speed

205 1.8 diesel turbo - idle speed

Hi, just bought a 1991 Pug 205 and the idle speed is a bit funny.[:0]
It goes up and down every second or so between about 900 and 1000 RPM.
What is wrong and how should I fix it?

Idle speed should be 750rpm +50/-0 Erratic idle might be air in fuel lines/Air leak in turbo hoses/Dirty injectors.
