heated mirrors

I have an R reg xantia without heated mirrors and an M reg xantia with them.......my m reg xantia has just expired [V](going free to a good home to anyone near tunbridge wells) and i was wondering if anyone knew how easy it would be to swap the mirrors over so that i could have heated mirrors on my r reg......do the cars have the same loom and its just the mirrors that are different or would it mean wiring it all the way back to the heated rear window switch?

Might/not be a connector at each A-pillar for the heated mirror. If not - it's a simple matter of finding the rear window heater wire - as the mirrors "runs" on the heated rear.
You must of course DIY a suitable earth connection.

Should just be a straight swap. On both my Xsara's and my old ZX TD the electrics were in place.

after application of the heavy screwdrivers i agree.......really easy swap wirings already there just plug in the connector
