Small things, big scares

Post by oscarloco »

Yesterday when entering the company, I heard some noise coming from the right front wheel.
"Now what" I thought, but since I didn't heard it later, I guessed everything was OK.
Later in the afternoon, while going to visit my girlfriend, again the noise and again while turning.
"Oh no, something is not good" and a lot of stuff coming thru my mind: Will it go away, is some bushing dead, have the drop links seized, are the steering knucles wasted, etc, etc.
At night, while going home, I turned off the radio and listened: Nothing! Then a light came to me, maybe one of the tie wraps that I used for holding the inner wheel arch covers was touching the wheel.
Today, before leaving for work, I checked and behold, it was the tie wrap indeed. It was a relief. But still, hate when that happens.

There's a lot of truth in that Anders. Not just what you were doing but where and what you disturbed along the way. You're not alone, Oscar, we've all done it[:I]
