1.9TD engine prices??

Thanks guys, I have now got it listed on Ebay for £150 + £60 insured courier delivery. It is still sitting in the car at the moment, how heavy are the XUDs roughly with gearbox still attached?

I'd guess at an engine weight of 175 - 200kg with bits like the injector pump etc and another 50 for the gearbox. Don't forget the pallet - if its a Chep blue one it will be heavy too - say 15 - 20 kg.

As the car is being scrapped i have thought about cutting the body away from it to make it easier to man handle, as typical of me i started dismantling the car on soft (chippings) ground so an engine hoist wouldnt be much use as it would sink, so will try either rope & a scaffold tube a couple of friends & lift or a local tractor hijack!
