Laguna Radio Problem

Has anyone experienced this problem with a Laguna CD Radio? (Philips)_
A CD will play for a bit, then skip and freeze, and switch back to the radio.
I've tried different CD's, cleaning the lens, and it doesn't look like the RDS is set for traffic reports.
Any solutions?

Sorry for this but it sounds as thought the laser has bit the dust or may need re-alighning. Had a simalar problem a couple of years back on my Technics hi fi seperate units. The CD player would be OK for a couple of mins then spit out the CD. Cost £50 to repair but as I say that was on a Home system. Possibly cheaper to E-bay for another head unit.
