Interior Light Not Working...

Last year, after a wiring mishap (by me!!), I burnt the fusebox on my 1.8 1997 Laguna. I replaced then fusebox with one from a 2.0 'M' reg.
Although these seem compatible and all and despite it working (almost) perfectly, I have two questions which will make me decide whether or not these are interchangeable....
<ul><li> </li><li> </li><li> </li></ul> Since replacing the fusebox, my interior light has stopped working withn the doors opening / shutting or locking / unlocking, but works perfectly manually (i.e. when switching it on / off using the button and yes it IS in the right position for operating with the doors!)
<ul><li> </li><li> </li><li> </li></ul> The display for the tape can no longer be controlled by the switch that dims / brightens up the speedo display and if the parking lights or headlights are used without the ignition on, the radio display goes completely off, but switching the ignition on brigs the display back up.
I know its unusual to switch the lights on with the car off, but it bugs me cos it weren't like that before!
Any ideas would be appreciated

i find it hard to beleive the fuse boxes would be this interchangable (being french!!), but even if so, did you check there was the same amount of fuses & relays, surely theres some numbers to cross ref? also, can you be sure you didn't damage anything else when you burnt out the f/box?
