whats it worth

Hi my local auction has an S plate 1.8 16V in silver with 125k miles on it v good condition .It's been through three times and cant get the reserve of £650. what is it worth??? Regards john

About £500 I would say: tops. Depends on model and specification: LX,SX and AC etc.
At auction: depends upon buyers...

If it is worth more than the 650 - then people would place higher bids.
But obviously not [8)]
The value of a s/h car always follows any market trade value - no matter how good and shiny the car is. That's why you often find ridicolous fine cars in the scrapyards [:(]
