Map Sensor

If the Map Sensor is dodgy, I know it effects the idleing of the car, but will it effect the starting of the car, as i have the symptons of a dodgy map sensor, but also in the heat and when the engine is hot its a nightmare to start!

Could also be the idle control valve or the lambda sensor - I had to change both on my 306.
