C3 engine cover removal

Is there a trick to removing the cover on top of the engine head (with the air filterhousing)to get at glow plugs etc? I am baffled and don't want to use force!

too new for me but most have a screw or two hidden under plastic clip out covers like the Audi and bade to look like its all one piece.

just pull it,there are no screws or fixings on it,there are little plastic balls underneath the cover that locate into rubber sockets.

Cant a dealer or mechanic do it for you?I take its a diesel?
