Fellas, i remebered this little thing in my sleep:
Since you all complain when cleaning the container about it's sharp edges, why not put a piece of a rubber hose cut along it's lenght on the opening? at least it would prevent cursing and cuttings a bit more...

It's not a bad suggestion of itself, but the damage to one's hands occur when one is washing the container - in which case the rubber hose would have to be removed anyway.
But it's nice to see some lateral thinking.

Thats a belting idea[;)] Put the hose one whilst you stick your hand in and pull it off when rinsing out. Top man!
