Cylinder Heads

Hi
Can anyone confirm if the 306 TD cyl head pre HDI will fit staight on to the Xantias 1993 TD block.

err yes and no! i have a 1993 xantia 1900td which has 306 td head on it. she runs fine but you have to blank the oil feed at the rear of the pug head ( this means tapping head and fitting a blanking screw- if you can look at my previous posts they give details )
swap injectors as pug had lucas and xantia had bosch , the manifolds studs also need swapping as well as cam cover and the water inlet plate basically if it is bolted to the head you need to swap it for the xantia bracket/part etc (but if you have skill to do head you can figure what needs changeing over)hope this helps
also correct me if i'm wrong somebody! a pug 405 td head after 1991 will fit? the pre 1991? are 1769cc ??( i've been told the 1769cc will fit also but don't hold me too it!!)does this help?
