Brake Load Valve?

Do ZX's have these? I was told by a garage I have just used for the first time that this had failed & that this is what had caused the rear caliper to seize. I've never heard of one being fitted to a ZX before or is that purely because they are usually quite a reliable item?

Yes they all do - some of the drum braked ones have them incorporated in the rear cylinders. Not as nice a system as the hydraulic cars which feed the rear brakes from the rear suspenion circuit!
