removal of loom help...

Post by ActivaV6uk »

Ok so I have a Xantia Activa well and truly in bits here at the mo and I am taking the entire electrical system and hydraulic system off the car to fit to another car (yes I am that crazy), I’m at the stage ware I am done with the front of the car (I will take a picture of the bare metal from the windscreen onwards later) bar one thing... the engine bay loom, the connectors for it are hidden under the scuttle cover and then another cover on the drivers side of the windscreen /scuttle. How do I separate these connectors? I’ve pulled the yellow tab up and it did nothing.... I know these have to be water proof so what have I missed???
Thanks
(Covered in LHM – I forgot how bad this stuff tastes) Andy

Fixed it, there are 3 "20 Torqs" head screws holding them and the water seal in place.
