Low brake fluid warning on 406

Post by acataldo »

I have recently bought a T Reg 406 GLX HDI 90. Whenever I operate the hand brake the LOW BRAKE FLUID warning comes up (never comes on any other time). I have check the levels and condition of the connection and level sensor and it all looks OK. Has anyone experience this issue before?

Is it on when you release or pull up?If after released, the low brake light came up,could be your brake fluid is really low. This is a sign of leak somewhere in the system.
If it lights up when u pulled it up,that's normal lah!(malaysian english must have lah at the back).

If you want to sort it, Fit the new modified handbrake switch & the fault will be fixed.
