Could be worth an early trip to Aldi on Thursday 9th June.... petrol 2.2 kilowatt generator for £149.99.

Be wary of cheap generators, they are usually very very noisey, I know because i bought one and returned it quick !!

Makro are knocking out some 980W ones for £45 + Vat, small, noisy and enough power for the lighting in a power cut.

Any super cheap welders yet? Oh and before I forget. Babies 'R'us have a sale on prams and push chairs this month. That's for all the farther to be (like me) and those with young children.
