Having a pig of a time with my Berlingo Multispace 2.0 HDi
Blows oil filler cap off
Black smoke from exhaust.
losing power
intermittent warning lights
dont know what to believe !!!???
first time back to dealer No faults found but smoke could be from over filling oil? Oil filler cap tend to come off?
second visit 1 week later
still black smoke
but found 2 faults pre/post heating relay circuit
intermittent egr flow incorrect
no faults found on warnings brakes oil level etc.
confidence lacking in dealers. are they at it and just baffling me with techno babble ???

Blows oil filler cap off- is your engine cover secure ? if the small rubber mounts are snapped it causes the engine cover to move about & loosen the oil filler cap.
Black smoke from exhaust
losing power - both related to the EGR flow fault ??
intermittent warning lights - which warning lights ?
found 2 faults pre/post heating relay circuit - one of the glowplugs gone open circut ?

The brake warning light comes on at least 3-4 times a day
when starting the oil indicator shows full or empty depending on how the car feels
