AX Seized Handbrake HELP!

hello
MY AX GT has been sat for around a month & when i came to move it i found that the handrbake has seized on teh left rear wheel!, as you can imagine this makes moving it difficult....[B)]
can anyone please tell me how to un-seize it? or give me some tips?
any help would be greatly appreciated as its sat outside my neighbours house & i dont think he likes it!!!
also.. if anyone would like an 89 AX GT.. its yours for 250 quid.. the diffs mullered but still.. plenty of life left in it & its MOT'd up to November!!

Its probably only that the shoes have stuck to the drum, if you keep driving backwards and forwards for long enough, it should free off.

failing that I think the wheel is coming off & the drum is getting a visit form Mr Hammer..[:D]

the problem with doing that is your linings might break away from shoes ,you might be beter of trieing to tap brake drum or back plate or even flex brake cables,this is a bit more suttle rgards malcolm
