Firebond have just quoted £112 for TPF&T for renewal on my totally standard Pug 205 1.6 GTi.
This for a 3000 mile limit. [:0]
Im 46 soon, full NCD on my Cit which is £190 fully comp with a full clean licence held since 1977.
Just one SP30 in 1987 (on a motorbike) and only two claims in my life (neither my fault).
Any thoughts on where this old crock might do a better deal. Seems a tad expensive to me for whats on offer...
Insurance Quote Seems High...

Expensive!!? hah, there was me thinking my £400 was cheap being 28 on my supra but £112. I think you will struggle to get much less as theres just nothing in it for them and it is group 14 I think? I did a few quotes online myself the other day as my reneweal is up soon and Endsliegh was cheapest so perhaps try their online quote form to get a rough idea.

sheesh i dont even pay that citroenzx! and im 19! mind you your's seems to be the version or too up from mine (good old reflex i ) i used to pay about 90£ a month for me old polo.
citrojim, all i can say is shop around, try every company you can think of and even ask the audience for others you cant think of, although a different end of the scale to in insurance bracket, when ever i get a quote from companies which are ment to be "nice" to young people, the price is often at least 1000£ more than what i pay now, for the same level of cover, its amazing what some companies ask for!

Thanks all! I posted a similar query on another forum, where the average age of the drivers is around the early twenties mark and was told quite clearly to wind my neck in and be happy with it. Most were paying my quoted premium per month and pointed out that mine works out at around a tenner a month. Put like that it seems not so bad...
