Added Diesel to Unleaded Laguna by mistake

Hi,
done the most idiotic thing today and added £25.00 worth a diesel to my unleaded car
I have a renault laguna 1.8 ltr 16v sport on a 2000 plate.
After it conked out after about 2minutes, i had it toed back to a gargage(just a guy doing work on the side) cost me £80, to get it sorted. Went out for a drive in it and it was still kinda juddering, but i put that down to maybe some traces of diesel still in the tank.
Filled it up again, with inleaded
Problem is, after i got it home, i lifted the bonnet to discover, that there is a petrol leak from the the 2 pipes that connect together*rite at the front of the engine.
Looks like a plastic cap.plug type thing that fits into another pipe, this is situated at the left hand side as you lift the bonnet, but right at the front of the engine.*sorry about my descriptions*.
I have tried to push them together as much as i can, but im still getting a leak, and possibly some air being sucked in which maybe causing the judder, as you accelerate away ?.
I have phone the garage and the guys ok about getting it looked at, but having to drive it back about 8 miles, could get tricky if its constanlty leaking.
Could someone tell me is these two pipe that im taking about have a seal between them, that me be just gone, and could i pick up at a local parts dept one of thse seals .
Just trying to find out the best plan of attack here

I would guess if you have run it on diesel then the garage will have had these pipes off to drain them.
I guess then that they didn't refit them properly.
Peeing petrol all over the engine is not a good idea though.
Do you have breakdown cover? If it doesn't have home cover then I would drive it a mile (or whatever their minimum is) then call them.

Also change plugs, the diesel will gunge them up!

Wish i had breakdown cover but i dont (something i will be looking into), should have mentioned i got the plugs changed as well yesterday a, as the car wouldnt start.
But, just trying to find out if these two pipes has a seal Between them.
Any Idea ?
