Dodgy tyre on Espace

Hi all. Got a problem with a 1989 Espace 2.0 TXE. The rear near side tyre is worn about 50mm around the outside. There doesn't appear to be any problem on the near side re: Shocks, Trailing Arm bushes, wheel bearing. However on the off side the Front Trailing Arm bush is completely shot. This appears to be the only problem I can see. Would the off side problem cause a problem with the near side. All very confusing to me. Any ideas pleeeze.
