Steering wheel

Guys,
Would a phase 2 steering wheel fit onto a phase 1 model.

Sorry can't help exactly
but if you wanted to give your car a racier look
a sporty looking steering wheel off a later Peugeot 205 does fit a phase 1 405

i've fitted one to my phase 1, £5 from a scrapyard, it's about 15mm smaller in diameter but looks so much better.
