Renualt Scenic Gearbox - Driveshaft
I've just successfully fitted a new nearside driveshaft to my Scenic. A lot of oil, I guess from the gearbox leaked out. I cannot find where to check and top-up the gearbox oil. I guess there must be a short dip stick somewhere but I cannot find it. Is it at the back of the engine and/or will I need to remove the lower plastic tray to find it. Your help would be appreciated. thanks

mine on the clio is at the front of the gearbox about half the way up its a plastic wingnut type thingy. it doesn't have a dipstick, it just holds 3.25litres of gear oil, you'll be able to find that out from any motor factor shop for you make and model.
other than that try purchasing an haynes manual often comes in handy, other than that try ebay for dialogsys it contains parts list, repair notes and technical notes hope any of the above information you find helpfull
